Have You Seen What’s New at Dawes?

We’re excited to announce the installation of two new Chronolog stations—interactive additions that bring science and storytelling together through photography! You’ll find them at:

📍 Rolling Hills Meadow Wetland, our newest restoration project
📍 The Observation Deck, overlooking the Hedge Letters, Conifer Glen, and Dawes Lake

This citizen science project invites you to help document changes in the landscape over time. By capturing photos throughout different seasons and years, visitors like you contribute to a growing historical time-lapse! View each location by visiting Chronolog.io , clicking the "Explore Maps" tab and searching "The Dawes Arboretum".

Want to get involved? Follow these instructions below:

  1. Visit either Chronolog station
  2. Place your cell phone gently in the mounted phone holder
  3. Snap a photo of the landscape
  4. Follow the instructions on the sign to email your image using the provided QR code

Your photo then becomes part of a living archive and a powerful tool for conservation and education. Join us in capturing the story of Dawes, one image at a time!
