Hours
The Arboretum is open-free of charge-from 7am until sunset daily except New Year's, Thanksgiving and Christmas days. The Visitors Center is open Monday - Saturday, 8am - 5pm; Sundays and holidays, 1 - 5pm.

Tours
- Explore The Arboretum on your own by following any of our eight miles of walking trails and/or four-mile Auto Tour. Click here to download our Visitors Map(please note: it may take a moment to download due to the size of the file)
- The Daweswood House Museum is filled with antiques and collectibles of the founding family. Tours are Saturdays and Sundays at 3:15pm or by appointment. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children ages 12 and younger.
- The Arboretum offers the opportunity for organized bus tours to have a step-on guide. For more information, please call 800.44.DAWES.
- An open-air wagon is available for groups up to 60 people. This is a guided tour that takes you by some of the prime collection and garden areas. It is a great opener to a more in-depth walk of the grounds. To arrange this tour, please call 800.44.DAWES.

Relax in the Visitors Center! Wireless Internet access is avilable as well as refreshments including beverages and snacks.

Guidelines
Please keep this information in mind each time you visit The Arboretum:
- Pets must be kept on leashes. Please do not allow pets to urinate on plants. Clean up pet waste and dispose of in a trash can.
- Collecting (of plant materials, etc.) is not permitted.
- Leave tables, benches, decorative pots and other materials where they have been placed by employees of The Arboretum. Moving such items for photographs and other uses may result in damage and/or personal injury.
- Grills are prohibited.
- Please take your trash and recyclables with you.
- Have fun!
